Shows Feb 13-18
Okie, here’s what’s up in our live musical world this week.

I’ll be at home eating Valentine’s steak, but my 19 year old goth kid self wonders why I’m not going to go see Royal Baths. Maybe because they really appealed to my former self, but not my current self. I mean, I like ‘em ok, they are mostly garagey, but dark. Also playing is Abby Gogo and Spirits and the Melchizedek Children. Great line up and it’s FREE at 529.
Friday, February 17th
I don’t know the person this benefit is for (friend of a friend of a friend), but I do know that Spooky Partridge are playing at Manuel’s Tavern. There will be other bands and the show is ALL AGES (kid friendly!) and starts early at 7pm. Go support a person who needs support and get some great music, too.

This Is the Sound is a podcast by Kim and Jenn. We pick a theme, talk about the theme, play music we love based on that theme, and hope that you end up loving this music, too. We're from Atlanta, so we like to brag on our city and the awesome music our neighbors around town are creating. Sometimes we talk to them on the podcast, which rocks. You can contact us at thisisthesoundpodcast at gmail.com.
